Pogba: 'I always knew I'd return to United'

Manchester United ace Paul Pogba says that "nothing has changed" since he returned to Old Trafford, which he claims is still "his house".

Paul Pogba has described returning to Manchester United from Juventus this summer as like 'coming back from holiday', saying that he always knew he would return to the club.

The France international made a record-breaking switch to Old Trafford in August, four years after calling time on his first spell in Manchester due to a lack of first-team opportunities under Sir Alex Ferguson.

Pogba has not fully lived up to the price tag just yet, claiming four goals and one assist in 18 games for the Red Devils in his second coming, but he is confident that he can earn the plaudits of supporters should results begin to turn.

"I have United in my heart," he said at an exclusive adidas event in London, as quoted by Sky Sports News. "It's my house. When I left I always knew that I would come back. For me, it's just normal. It's like I went on holiday and just came back. Seriously. Nothing really changed. I'm the same person.

"You have the fans. You just do what you love. For them, it's something different. They can lose one game and not talk for two days. That's why we play for the fans as well as myself and the family. You have to give them the same love. I enjoy football and I enjoy the fans. I have done since I was young. That won't change."

Pogba, back in contention to feature against Everton this weekend after serving a one-match ban, has been named as United's Man of the Match in his last two outings.
