Clayton Blackmore believes that Manchester United must keep Manchester City's strikers quiet this evening.

Clayton Blackmore believes that Manchester United will have to keep Manchester City's strikers quiet if they are to gain a positive result at the Etihad Stadium this evening.

Argentine duo Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero are expected to lead the City line against their rivals.

Blackmore, who played for United for 12 years up until 1994, believes that his former club are capable of achieving a positive result with a disciplined defensive performance.

"It's the biggest derby ever," he told BBC Radio Five Live. "The key players for City will be the two strikers.

"If we can keep them quiet, we should come through with a draw or a win."

The winner of tonight's encounter will top the Premier League table.
