Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry admits his excitement ahead of the FA Cup final against Wigan Athletic on Saturday.

Manchester City midfielder Gareth Barry has revealed his excitement ahead of Saturday's FA Cup final against Wigan Athletic.

The Blues are aiming to win the tournament for the second time in three years when they face the Latics at Wembley Stadium.

"I'm obviously really looking forward to it," Barry told Sky Sports News. "It is the FA Cup final - every year it is a fantastic day.

"It was one that as a young kid growing up you look forward to watching so to be part of it, I'm really looking forward to it."

Barry has scored two goals in 39 appearances for Manchester City so far this season.
