Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge: "Things will get better"

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge insists that "things will get better" for the club after his side dropped points for a fourth time in the Premier League.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge has insisted that "things will get better" after his side were restricted to a 1-1 draw against Norwich City at Anfield on Sunday.

The England international made his first start in six months following a string of injuries, one of which resulted in hip surgery at the end of last season.

Liverpool have managed to claim just two victories in six Premier League games, and have only netted four goals, but Sturridge has urged supporters not to give up hope.

On Instagram, Sturridge wrote: "Nice to get a run out today. First game in 6 months. Trust mi when I say things will get better.. Don't doubt it."

Next month, Liverpool will face Everton, Tottenham Hotspur, Southampton and Chelsea.
