Mauricio Pochettino: No "special plan" for Mario Balotelli

Tottenham Hotspur have no "special plans" to deal with Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli in today's White Hart Lane clash, according to head coach Mauricio Pochettino.

Tottenham Hotspur head coach Mauricio Pochettino has insisted that his side have no "special plan" to combat the threat of Liverpool debutant Mario Balotelli at White Hart Lane this afternoon.

The Italian striker joined the Merseysiders from AC Milan last week and he will partner Daniel Sturridge in attack in North London.

However, despite having described the 24-year-old as "an unbelievable player", Pochettino has not asked any member of his team to man-mark the former Manchester City frontman.

"We don't have any special plan to stop Mario Balotelli, but we know he is an unbelievable player. It is good for the Premier League to have him back," he told Sky Sports News.
