Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reportedly thinking about the possibility of extending his stay at Anfield, with his current contract set to expire in 2024.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly not ruled out extending his stay at Anfield, with his current deal set to expire in 2024.

The German boss has enjoyed a successful spell in Merseyside, winning five trophies during his time with the Reds so far, including guiding Liverpool to their first Premier League title.

Klopp's side reached the quarter-finals of the FA Cup for the first time under the management of the 54-year-old on Wednesday evening, and they are aiming for the quadruple after lifting the League Cup on Sunday.

He told ITV Sport ahead of his side's FA Cup outing against Norwich: "I really don't know [If I will stay on]. Our owners understood things will take time, we needed that. They are interested in development as well and that is pretty helpful."

Klopp first arrived at Anfield in 2015, meaning that if he was to extend his stay at the club beyond his current contract he will have been Liverpool manager for 10 years.

Having taken charge of Mainz and Borussia Dortmund for seven years respectively, Klopp has already surpassed his longest stay with a single club in his managerial career.
