Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says there are no issues between Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, despite the latter's reaction to failing to receive a pass versus Burnley.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has played down suggestions of a rift between Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

After the latter had been substituted against Burnley in the club's final game before the international break, an angry outburst followed as a result of Salah failing to provide him with an opportunity in front of goal.

However, while there have been claims that the pair's differences had not been resolved, Klopp has insisted that there is 'nothing left' to discuss after the incident.

The German told talkSPORT: "There's nothing left. It's something we left immediately after the game.

"There was a little talk. It was Monday when we met first after our international break and everything was fine. Training was brilliant, the boys are fine with each other, they like each other. That's how it is and that's how it was before.

"Football is high emotions and the only problem that we have is that all of our emotions are shown in public, and I like that."

The pair both featured as Liverpool recorded a 3-1 victory over Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
