Robbie Fowler: 'Liverpool favourites to beat Manchester United'

Robbie Fowler believes that Liverpool should beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League this weekend.

Robbie Fowler has claimed that Liverpool are favourites to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Merseysiders, who are currently in second place in the table, head to the Theatre of Dreams 11 points clear of their bitter rivals.

Fowler believes that it is the first time in years that Liverpool will be expected to beat United on their own turf.

"It's always a massive game but the difference this time is that Liverpool must be favourites," he is quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.

"I can't remember the last time a Liverpool team went to Old Trafford in that position.

"On paper it's a game Liverpool should win. They're in great form and I am quietly confident Liverpool can get a big result there."

Liverpool earned a 1-0 victory over United when the teams met at Anfield earlier in the season.
