Christian Eriksen keen to upset Jurgen Klopp

Christian Eriksen is confident that Tottenham Hotspur can spoil Jurgen Klopp's Premier League debut as Liverpool boss.

Christian Eriksen has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur are confident of frustrating new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp when the two sides meet on Saturday.

Klopp will take charge of Liverpool for the first time at White Hart Lane, and much of the build-up to the fixture has focused on how the former Borussia Dortmund manager will cope in the Premier League.

However, Eriksen believes that Spurs are fully prepared for the challenge as they look to extend their seven-match unbeaten run in the league.

"Klopp is a good manager, he has a charisma about him. I even saw that when he was with Dortmund," the Dane told the club's website.

"He had been doing really well there and I think he showed how good he is. But of course it'll be different at Liverpool and it'll be the first game for him this weekend so all their players will want to show what they can do.

"He probably has his ideas but hopefully we'll show what we're capable of and give Liverpool a really good game. We'll want to score some goals and be as good defensively as we have been in the last few games."

Liverpool have won the last five games against Spurs.
