Massimo Cellino allowed to attend Leeds United's last game of season

Disqualified club president Massimo Cellino reveals that the Football League has given him permission to attend Leeds United's last game of the season.

The Football League has given Massimo Cellino permission to attend Leeds United's last game of the season against Rotherham United on Saturday.

Cellino is banned from having any executive influence at Elland Road until Sunday, but the League say that he can go to the game as long as he does so as a spectator and does not "fulfill any role that would lead to him being defined as a relevant person under League regulations".

If the Italian does attend, it will be the first time he has been to the home of the Whites since resigning as club president on January 23 after he had been disqualified by the League.

When asked if he would be at the game, the 58-year-old told the Yorkshire Evening Post: "I don't know. I haven't decided.

"The Football League say I'm allowed to go but I don't know what I'll do."

Cellino also insisted that Leeds are not interested in nabbing Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink from Burton Albion.
