Miralem Pjanic 'ready for Juventus debut'

Miralem Pjanic reveals that he is ready to make his Juventus debut after struggling with a minor injury in the early part of the season.

Miralem Pjanic has revealed that he is ready to make his Juventus debut after struggling with a minor injury in the early stages of his career with the Italian giants.

Pjanic joined Juve from Roma in the summer, but despite making the last two matchday squads, is yet to make an appearance for the Serie A champions.

The Bosnia-Herzegovina international played the full 90 minutes for his country against Estonia on Tuesday night, however, and the 26-year-old has insisted that he is now ready to appear for his new club.

"I had small physical problems for the first two matches, but I'm fine now," Pjanic told Premium Sport. "Now there will be Sassuolo, then Sevilla. An important cycle awaits us, we play every three days, but I'm ready.

"What we want is to keep the victories [of] last year going without forgetting the Champions League. We will look to progress the round [group stage] and then we'll see what happens. Obviously a team like Juventus must point to everything. We will do our best [to win it all]."

Juventus, who begin their Champions League campaign against Sevilla on September 14, have won both of their Serie A matches at the start of the new season.
