Agent: 'Ever Banega to return to Spain'

Inter Milan midfielder Ever Banega will "99%" return to Spain in this summer's transfer window, according to his agent.

The agent of Inter Milan midfielder Ever Banega has revealed that his client is "99%" certain to return to Spain in this summer's transfer window.

Banega, 28, left Sevilla last summer to join Inter on a free transfer, and the Argentine scored six times and registered six assists in 28 Serie A appearances during the 2016-17 campaign.

It is understood that the midfielder is desperate to return to La Liga, however, and his agent Marcelo Simonian has confirmed that a switch to Spain has already been agreed.

"Ever will 99% go to Spain for a sum far inferior to the €13m (£11.4m) that is doing the rounds in the media over the last few days," Simonian told Tuttomercatoweb. "An agreement has been reached."

Sevilla are believed to be the favourites to re-sign the player that represented them between 2014 and 2016, scoring 12 times in 92 appearances.
