Report: Hull City considering move for Cardiff City's Peter Whittingham

Hull City will reportedly make an approach to sign midfielder Peter Whittingham from Cardiff City.

Hull City have reportedly targeted a move for Cardiff City midfielder Peter Whittingham.

According to WalesOnline, Hull want Whittingham to replace Stephen Quinn, who joined Reading earlier this week.

The Tigers also lost Tom Ince to Derby County yesterday, a sale that is said to have angered manager Steve Bruce.

Whittingham, who has two years left on his current contract, has been a Cardiff player since joining from Aston Villa midway through the 2006-07 season, scoring 74 league goals for the Bluebirds since then.
