Hull City fined £30,000 by Football Association for failing to control players

Hull City are fined £30,000 by the FA for failing to control their players in an incident during a goalless draw against Leicester City earlier this month.

Hull City have been fined £30,000 by the Football Association for failing to control their players during an incident against Leicester City earlier this month.

The Tigers appealed against a misconduct charge, but an independent panel dismissed it.

The fine is in relation to an incident where Hull players surrounded referee Jonathan Moss after he booked Alex Bruce for a challenge on Riyad Mahrez during the goalless draw at the King Power Stadium on March 14.

Today, a statement from the FA read: "Hull City have been fined £30,000 after an FA player misconduct charge brought against the club was found proven.

"It was alleged that in or around the 68th minute of the game against Leicester City on 14 March 2015, Hull failed to ensure its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion."

Hull are currently 15th in the Premier Legaue table, three points above the relegation zone.
