Steve Bruce expects Nikica Jelavic return against Sunderland

Hull City boss Steve Bruce expects Nikica Jelavic to be available against Sunderland following a knee injury.

Hull City boss Steve Bruce has revealed that Nikica Jelavic should be fit to face Sunderland tomorrow night.

The Croatian striker missed Saturday's 1-0 defeat away to Stoke City with a knee problem.

However, Bruce expects the team's top scorer to be available against the Black Cats at the KC Stadium following his return to training.

"Nikica trained on Sunday and a little bit more on Monday," he told the club's official website. "We hope he's going to be okay."

Hull are currently in 15th place in the Premier League table, four points clear of the relegation zone.
