Fulham reportedly consider a swoop for Peter Odemwingie if Bobby Zamora decides to leave Craven Cottage for Queens Park Rangers.

Fulham are believed to be ready to swoop for West Bromwich Albion striker Peter Odemwingie if they lose Bobby Zamora to Queens Park Rangers.

It emerged this morning that QPR have made a £5m bid for Zamora.

It is understood that the Cottagers are willing to let the frontman leave the club. However, Fulham's original move for Borussia Dortmund forward Lucas Barrios could collapse following the German player's agent stating that the striker is staying put.

If the Cottagers fail in their attempts to sign Barrios and relinquish Zamora to QPR, then Martin Jol will turn his attention to Baggies striker Odemwingie, according to Sky Sports News.

Reports last week claimed that Fulham were prepared to launch a fresh bid for the 30-year-old.
