Report: Garry Monk to be offered Fulham job following Swansea City axe

Recently-sacked Garry Monk will reportedly be offered the job as Fulham manager.

Fulham are reportedly planning to offer Garry Monk a job as the club's manager.

The 36-year-old has been out of work for just two days after getting sacked by Swansea City following one win in 11 Premier League matches.

Fulham appointed Stuart Gray as senior coach on Tuesday, but they are still searching for a new manager after parting company with Kit Symons last month.

According to The Telegraph, once Monk's compensation package is agreed with Swansea, Fulham will offer the retired defender the full-time job at Craven Cottage.

Fulham are currently 16th in the Championship table, six points above the relegation zone.
