Roberto Martinez has agreed a fee to bring River Plate defender Ramiro Funes Mori to Everton, according to reports.
The 24-year-old Argentina international, who has been linked with a move to the Toffees in recent weeks, would fill the void left by the departures of Sylvain Distin and Antolin Alcaraz.
A £5m fee has now been agreed for Mori's transfer to Goodison Park, according to the Daily Mail, despite ongoing interest from Spanish side Villarreal.
Mori, who has one cap for his country, was part of the River Plate side that won the Copa Libertadores this season.
