Darron Gibson backs Everton to leave the Britannia Stadium with a positive result when they take on Stoke City, who are unbeaten in 14 home matches.

Everton midfielder Darron Gibson has declared that the Toffees are capable of silencing Stoke City's vocal home support at the Britannia Stadium tomorrow.

Stoke are unbeaten in 14 matches at their home fortress but Gibson thinks that Everton have enough quality to win if they perform to their maximum.

The Republic of Ireland international told the club's official website: "It's always a tough place to go because they're a very good team defensively.

"Physically they're obviously one of the biggest teams in the Premier League so they're a threat from set pieces.

"We've been on a good run of form the last few games so hopefully if we can keep playing well I think we can go there and get a result."

Gibson has helped Everton secure five points in their last three matches since returning from three months out with a thigh injury.
