50-50 chance of England facing Wales, Northern Ireland, Ireland in Euro 2016 group

England will have a 50-50 chance of being drawn against neighbours Wales, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland in next month's Euro 2016 group-stage draw.

UEFA has announced the seedings for the Euro 2016 group-stage draw next month, and England have a 50-50 chance of being drawn in a group with neighbours Wales, Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland.

Roy Hodgson's side are one of the five countries in pot one - Spain, Germany, Belgium and Portugal being the others - that will join hosts France as a top seed.

Wales, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, who beat Bosnia in a playoff last night to qualify, will all be in the fourth pot of bottom seeds because of UEFA's co-efficient rankings.

Next year's tournament has seen an increase of teams from 16 to 24. There will be six groups of four teams, with the top two and four best third-placed sides from each group going through to the last 16.

The draw takes place on December 12 in Paris ahead of the tournament starting next year on June 10.
