Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock plays down Jonny Williams exit talk

Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock plays down talk linking midfielder Jonny Williams with a second loan move to Ipswich Town.

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has played down speculation linking Jonny Williams with a loan move away from the club.

The 20-year-old midfielder, who has made three appearances for the Eagles this season, is understood to be on Ipswich Town's radar.

However, Warnock is eager to fully assess the Wales international after recently taking charge of the club for a second time.

"I don't want Jonny to go until I've had a good look at him," the 65-year-old is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

Williams spent part of last season on loan at Ipswich, scoring one goal in 12 games for the Championship side.
