Marouane Chamakh suffers injury setback

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis confirms that Marouane Chamakh will miss the next three weeks due to a hamstring injury.

Crystal Palace boss Tony Pulis has confirmed that Marouane Chamakh will be sidelined for a further three weeks due to a hamstring injury.

The striker was forced to miss Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Southampton after suffering the problem the previous weekend.

Chamakh has scored six goals in 28 appearances for the Eagles this season.

"We missed Cham's quality on Saturday," Pulis is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "We're looking at two to three weeks out for him."

Palace continue their Premier League campaign this Saturday when they travel to Sunderland.
