Report: Juventus want Chelsea's Ramires to replace Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal

Italian champions Juventus are linked with a move for Chelsea midfielder Ramires, with the Brazilian reportedly seen as a replacement for Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal.

Italian giants Juventus are keen to sign Chelsea midfielder Ramires as they fear they will lose Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal to Manchester United.

The Daily Star claims that Chelsea could be tempted into selling the Brazilian international for £12m in either January or at the end of the season, although there remains a possibility that he could be involved in a swap deal with Pogba, who is of interest to Jose Mourinho's side.

Pogba, 21, has been repeatedly linked with a return to Old Trafford, while Louis van Gaal's side were rumoured to close to signing Vidal on a number of occasions last summer.

Ramires has largely lost out to Cesc Fabregas and Nemanja Matic in the fight for regular action in Chelsea's central midfield this season, which is why Mourinho may be willing to cash in.

The 27-year-old has made 17 appearances for the Blues this season.
