Loic Remy 'to complete Leicester City move on Monday'

Chelsea striker Loic Remy will reportedly become a Leicester City player on Monday.

Loic Remy will reportedly complete his move from Chelsea to Leicester City on Monday after the sides agreed a £10m fee for the striker.

Foxes manager Claudio Ranieri has beaten off competition from Newcastle United for the 29-year-old, who has made nine appearances as a substitute and started just once in the league for the Blues this season.

Remy's move from the champions to the league leaders will give Ranieri extra options in attack to support prolific duo Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez following the loan exit of Andrej Kramaric to Hoffenheim earlier this month.

According to The Mirror, Leicester are also hopeful of completing a £2m deal for Bordeaux defender Clement Chantome before the transfer window closes at 11pm tomorrow.
