Liverpool 'express interest' in Yossi Benayoun loan move

Liverpool reportedly plan a late loan move for former midfielder and current Chelsea player Yossi Benayoun.

Liverpool are reportedly keen on bringing midfielder Yossi Benayoun back to Anfield on a temporary basis from Chelsea.

The Israeli playmaker, who spent a loan deal at Arsenal last season, has slipped down the ranks at Stamford Bridge and does not appear to be a significant part of Blues boss Roberto Di Matteo's plans.

The 32-year-old, who claimed yesterday that he was in talks with two Premier League outfits over a loan switch, is believed to be the subject of a late move from the Reds, according to Sky Sports News.

Benayoun left the Merseyside club for Chelsea in 2010.
