Lyon forward Nabil Fekir: 'Summer exit could still happen'

Lyon forward Nabil Fekir suggests that a summer exit is not out of the question, despite saying that he remains happy at the French club.

Lyon forward Nabil Fekir has suggested that he remains open to the possibility of leaving the French club this summer.

Fekir had been expected to join Liverpool before the start of the World Cup until the move broke down, while Chelsea are now said to hold an interest in the France international.

The 25-year-old has said that he remains happy at the Ligue 1 outfit, but the attacker has claimed that "everything goes very quickly in football".

Fekir told the club's official TV channel: "As you can see, I am in Lyon. I am very happy here, but the transfer window is still long and everything goes very quickly in football.

"We don't know what will happen in the future but I am very happy at Lyon. I feel brilliant in this squad. We have very good players, a great atmosphere."

Fekir contributed 18 goals and eight assists in 30 league appearances during the most recent campaign.
