Lucas Piazon's late strike has earned Chelsea a 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in their pre-season friendly at the Yankee Stadium in New York.

Petr Cech, Jon Obi Mikel, Eden Hazard and Kevin de Bruyne all started for the Blues, while Ashley Cole, John Terry, Florent Malouda and Josh McEachran came off the bench.

There were also appearances from Frank Lampard, David Luiz, Ramires and Michael Essien as manager Roberto Di Matteo used many of his first-team players.

The French side took the lead before half time when Nene fired in the rebound after Javier Pastore's effort had struck the post.

The Blues grabbed an equaliser with eight minutes to play as second-half substitute Piazon exchanged passes with Ramires before confidently firing home.
