Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte praises the versatility of N'Golo Kante, who helped the Blues win the Premier League under his guidance in 2017.

Former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has heaped praise on N'Golo Kante, describing the midfielder as "an amazing player".

After the pair arrived at Stamford Bridge during the summer of 2016, the Blues went on to win the Premier League title, Kante's second in succession.

Although the World Cup winner has recently struggled with injuries, Conte has called the Frenchman one of the best players that he has worked with during his managerial career.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Conte said: "In my opinion, he can play in every position in midfield. We are talking about an amazing player, a top player.

"He is amazing with and without the ball. When you have N'Golo in your team, you can think you are playing with one player more. You can find a smile on his face every day. He is a very positive guy. He is one of the best players I have had in my career as a coach."

Conte, who is now in charge of Inter Milan, has also spoken of his admiration of ex-club captain John Terry.
