Defender's return after hip problem would be timely for Canaries.

Norwich could welcome defender Timm Klose back from a hip problem for Saturday's Premier League visit of Chelsea.

The Canaries have had several defensive injuries and Klose's return would be a timely boost, although Christoph Zimmerman (knee) is still absent.

Onel Hernandez (knee) faces three months out after undergoing surgery and summer signing Josip Drmic (hamstring) is also missing.

N'Golo Kante could miss Chelsea's Premier League trip to Norwich with an ankle sprain.

Antonio Rudiger is not ready to feature this weekend as he closes in on a return after long-term knee trouble, but could be ready for the Stamford Bridge visit of Sheffield United on August 31.

Pedro missed training earlier in the week but was rested after a hectic fixture schedule, and is expected to be fit to face Norwich.

Provisional Norwich squad: Krul, Fahrmann, Aarons, Hanley, Byram, Godfrey, Klose, Lewis, Roberts, Vrancic, Leitner, Amadou, Tettey, Thompson, Pukki, Srbeny

Provisional squad: Arrizabalaga, Azpilicueta, Christensen, Zouma, Emerson, Kante, Jorginho, Mount, Pedro, Giroud, Pulisic, Caballero, Alonso, Tomori, Barkley, Kovacic, Willian, Abraham.
