Craig Bellamy criticises Cardiff City crowd

Craig Bellamy criticises sections of the Cardiff City crowd for 'turning on individual players' during the first half of Saturday's 2-1 win over Norwich City.

Craig Bellamy has criticised sections of the Cardiff City crowd for 'turning on individual players' during the first half of Saturday's 2-1 win over Norwich City.

Bellamy became the first man to score for seven different Premier League clubs when he netted just after the break to bring the Bluebirds level in South Wales.

However, he was dismissive when asked about his personal landmark by Sky Sports News, instead opting to deliver a scathing assessment of Cardiff's home supporters.

"I haven't heard the crowd like that," said Cardiff-born Bellamy. "That's not the club I'm from.

"I saw them turn first half, and I've not been a part of that. I've not seen them direct it at individuals, which they did.

"Maybe that's modern football, maybe I'm trying to get used to that. it's not like us."

Cardiff's win over Norwich moved them off the bottom of the Premier League table.
