Fulham have reportedly held talks over a potential move for Besiktas striker Semih Kilicsoy.

The Cottagers are expected to recruit at least one forward this summer despite the recent impressive form of Rodrigo Muniz.

The Brazilian has scored nine goals in his last 13 appearances to establish himself as Marco Silva's first-choice centre-forward.

However, Fulham still lack depth in the final third, with Chelsea loanee Armando Broja set to return to his parent club this summer.

Brentford, QPR 'interested in ex-Arsenal, Chelsea striker'

West London neighbours Brentford and Queens Park Rangers are reportedly interested in signing Leicester City forward Amani Richards.

Richards spent time in the academy setups at Arsenal and Chelsea, before he joined the youth system at Leicester in January 2022.

The youngster scored 12 goals in the Under-18 Premier League South in 2022-23 to be named Leicester's Men's Academy Player of the Season.

He has made the step up to the Under-21 side for the current season, scoring three goals and providing five assists in 19 appearances in the Premier League 2.

Serie A title winner 'rejects move to Man United, Liverpool'

Inter Milan's Davide Frattesi celebrates scoring their second goal with Nicolo Barella on April 8, 2024
    © Reuters

A title-winning Serie A midfielder has supposedly rejected the chance to join one of three Premier League titans in favour of signing a new deal with his current club.

Inter Milan's Nicolo Barella became a Scudetto winner for the second time earlier this month, as Simone Inzaghi's men bested city rivals AC Milan to clinch the 2023-24 Serie A crown.

Barella has unsurprisingly played another fundamental role in Inter's top-flight triumph, registering two goals and six assists from 33 matches in the current campaign, starting 31 of them.

A midfield mainstay ever since joining the Nerazzurri on an initial loan deal from Cagliari in 2019, the 27-year-old has now registered 22 goals and 51 assists in 231 matches for Inter, who forked out £27.8m to sign him permanently in 2020.

Tottenham 'in regular contact with Premier League defender'

    © Reuters

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly in frequent contact with the camp of a Premier League defender set to become a free agent at the end of the season.

Fulham mainstay Tosin Adarabioyo has made a name for himself in the top flight since leaving Manchester City in the summer of 2020, joining the Cottagers for just €1.7m (£1.5m).

The 26-year-old has scored five goals while setting up two more in 132 matches for Marco Silva's side, helping the Cottagers return to the Premier League for the 2022-23 campaign.

However, Adarabioyo has never penned a contract renewal in West London, only having a 12-month extension activated last January to keep him at the club until the end of this season.

Man United midfielder hints at U-turn over Old Trafford exit

An out-of-favour Manchester United midfielder has suggested that he wants to remain at Old Trafford this summer, despite his uncertain contract situation.

Christian Eriksen was a cornerstone of the Red Devils' success under Erik ten Hag during the 2022-23 season, forming a formidable midfield pairing with fellow new arrival Casemiro.

With Eriksen a regular fixture in the first XI, Man United ended their six-year trophy drought in the EFL Cup and finished third in the Premier League table, thereby earning a return to the Champions League.

The Denmark international has been demoted to a bit-part role this season, though, only managing one goal and two assists in 24 matches in all tournaments and starting a mere 11 Premier League games.

Arsenal, Borussia Dortmund 'interested in 18-year-old Barcelona starlet'

Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are supposedly rivalling each other for the signature of an 18-year-old midfield protege currently playing for Barcelona.

Brian Farinas was learning his trade at the Villarreal academy before joining Barca's celebrated La Masia setup in 2018, since when he has risen through the ranks to become a part of their Under-19s squad.

An out-and-out central midfielder, Farinas made five appearances for La Blaugrana in this year's UEFA Youth League, as Barca reached the knockout round playoffs but lost to Mainz 05 on penalties.

The teenager also has one appearance to his name in the Primera Federacion - the third tier of Spanish football - coming off the bench in a 4-2 victory over CD Teruel last month.

Arsenal 'offer new contract to 32-year-old midfielder'

Arsenal have reportedly made an offer of a new contract to one of their experienced midfield heads, who is expected to agree to the proposal.

Signed in the final knockings of the January 2023 window following a serious knee injury to Mohamed Elneny, Jorginho has often been a calming presence in the Arsenal XI this season.

The 32-year-old has not set the world alight in terms of goal contributions, only managing one goal and two assists in 35 games, but his composed performances in the number six role have earned plenty of plaudits.

Jorginho started both legs of Arsenal's Champions League quarter-final showdown with Bayern Munich and enjoyed a run in the first XI earlier in the year too, in particular earning high praise for his showings in wins over Liverpool and Newcastle United.

Leicester star 'in talks over contract extension after securing promotion'

Leicester City are reportedly in negotiations with Jamie Vardy over a new contract.

On Monday night, the Foxes were crowned winners of the Championship after recording a 3-0 victory over Preston North End at Deepdale.

Having secured an immediate return to the Premier League, Leicester's hierarchy can now begin to plan for 2024-25, even though matters are complicated somewhat.

The East Midlands outfit face the prospect of starting next season with a points deduction after being found to have breached the Premier League's Profit and Sustainability regulations in 2022-23.

Chelsea planning shock move for Man City attacker?

Manchester City's Jack Grealish celebrates scoring against Tottenham Hotspur on December 3, 2023
    © Reuters

Chelsea have reportedly set their sights on making a surprise move for a Manchester City attacker in the summer transfer window.

It has been nearly three years since the Premier League champions triggered the £100m release clause to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa, making him the most expensive British footballer at the time.

The 28-year-old has featured regularly for Pep Guardiola ever since, making 124 appearances and winning six major honours, but he only has 14 goals and 18 assists to his name in sky blue.

As such, there is a consensus that Grealish has failed to live up to his nine-figure price tag, and he has only scored three goals while setting up three more in 35 matches during the current campaign.

Spain international urges Barcelona to activate €60m release clause

Villarreal midfielder Alex Baena has expressed his desire to join Barcelona and has encouraged the Catalan giants to activate his €60m (£51.2m) release clause.

The 22-year-old has established himself as an important first-team player for Villarreal over the last few seasons since returning from a productive loan spell at Girona in 2021-22.

Baena, a versatile midfielder who can also operate in attack, has made a total of 111 senior appearances for the Yellow Submarine, scoring 19 goals and registering 28 assists.

No Villarreal player has made more appearances than Baena (41) in all competitions so far this season, with the two-cap Spain international contributing with five goals and 16 assists, including a La Liga-high 12 assists.

Lewandowski makes decision on Barcelona future

Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski celebrates scoring their third goal on April 29, 2024
    © Reuters

Robert Lewandowski has confirmed that he intends to stay at Barcelona and has no plans on leaving the club this summer.

The 35-year-old joined the Catalan giants for a reported €45m in July 2022 following a hugely successful and goal-laden eight-year spell at Bayern Munich.

Lewandowski impressed in his debut campaign at Camp Nou and scored 33 goals in 46 games, at least 23 goals more than any of his teammates, to help Barcelona win the La Liga title and Supercopa de Espana in 2022-23.

The Poland international has since netted 23 times in 44 appearances across all competitions this term, including a hat-trick in Barca's 4-2 home win over Valencia in La Liga on Monday, taking his top-flight goal tally to 16 in 30 matches.

Leeds, Stoke 'join Sheffield United in goalkeeper race'

Rotherham United's Viktor Johansson celebrates after the match on February 21, 2023
    © Reuters

Leeds United and Stoke City have reportedly joined Sheffield United in the race for Rotherham United goalkeeper Viktor Johansson.

The 25-year-old has been a standout performer at the AESSEAL New York Stadium this season despite the Millers failing to retain their Championship status.

Under a mixture of Matt Taylor, Leam Richardson and Steve Evans, Rotherham have earned the title of whipping boys in the division, winning only four of their 45 league fixtures so far.

Therefore, the Millers sit rock bottom of the second-tier standings, 24 points behind Neil Dewsnip's Plymouth Argyle in the relative safety of 21st heading into the final weekend of action.

Liverpool 'have interest in relegation-threatened Premier League player'

    © Reuters

Liverpool have reportedly identified a player who could be relegated from the Premier League this season as a potential transfer target.

The Merseyside giants have spent the past three months trying to secure a replacement for Jurgen Klopp, who is departing his role as manager.

As it stands, it appears highly likely that Feyenoord boss Arne Slot will soon be confirmed as his successor with a compensation package having been finalised between the clubs.

Slot's first task, should he arrive at Anfield, will be to determine whether the likes of Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah intend on remaining on Merseyside when their contracts are due to expire in 2025.

Man United 'draw up three-man shortlist of Rashford replacements'

Manchester United's Marcus Rashford celebrates scoring against Manchester City on March 3, 2024
    © Reuters

Manchester United have reportedly identified three potential replacements for Marcus Rashford.

In sharp contrast to the best individual campaign of his career during 2022-23, the England international has failed to make a sustained impact this season.

Just eight goals and five assists have come from 40 appearances in all competitions, a large chunk of his outings coming from either flank.

Last week, head coach Erik ten Hag publicly supported the long-serving attacker, saying that he deserves the support of the fans in a bid to get him back to his best form.

Premier League midfielder 'desperate to re-join Leeds this summer'

    © Reuters

Leeds United are reportedly being courted by a Premier League midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.

Daniel Farke's side are currently attempting to ensure that their absence from the top flight only lasts one year as they bid to secure promotion.

As it stands, the Yorkshire giants are sitting second in the Championship standings, albeit level on points with Ipswich Town who have a game in hand.

Victory for the Tractor Boys against Coventry City on Tuesday evening would put Kieran McKenna's side on the brink of automatic promotion and leave Leeds facing the prospect of the playoffs.
