Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton disappointed not to win

Brighton boss Chris Hughton admits that he is disappointed with his team's 1-1 draw at home to Wolves.

Brighton & Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton has admitted that he is disappointed with his side's 1-1 draw with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Seagulls let a one-goal lead slip at the Amex Stadium on Saturday as their survival hopes in the Championship suffered a minor setback.

Bruno Saltor put the hosts ahead on 70 minutes before an error from goalkeeper David Stockdale gifted Wolves an equaliser four minutes later.

"It was probably heading towards a 0-0 when we scored and I'm disappointed we didn't hang on," Hughton is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"There's no doubt David Stockdale will be disappointed with the goal we conceded, but that's a keeper's lot. He went on to make two very good saves towards the end and that is part and parcel of being a keeper."

Brighton are back in action on Tuesday when they make the trip to Millwall in the league.
