Borussia Monchengladbach maintain 100% home record

Borussia Monchengladbach beat 10-man Borussia Dortmund to win at home for the fourth time in four matches in the Bundesliga.

Borussia Monchengladbach have continued their winning start at home in the Bundesliga at the expense of Borussia Dortmund.

It was Marco Reus with the first sight of goal inside the opening 10 minutes, but his shot was blocked well by Martin Stranzl and deflected for a corner.

Gladbach then had Marc-Andre ter Stegen to thank as the goalkeeper pulled off a superb point-blank save to stop a Mats Hummels tap-in.

In the second half Dortmund continued to see a lot of the ball but Gladbach came closest to scoring when Max Kruse found Oscar Wendt; however, the left-back scuffed his effort wide.

However, on the 80-minute mark the game changed completely. Hummels fouled Havard Nordtveit inside the box and was sent off, with Kruse converting the penalty for a late lead.

That lead was doubled just before the 90-minute mark. Reus rattled the bar at one end before Raffael finished at the other to maintain Gladbach's perfect home record.
