An unnamed Chinese Super League club makes an offer for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal, according to a report.

An unnamed Chinese Super League club have reportedly made an offer for Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal.

The 32-year-old joined Barca from Bayern Munich last summer and went on to make 53 appearances for the Spanish champions during the 2018-19 campaign, scoring three times and registering seven assists.

The Chilean will not see his contract with the Catalan giants expire until the summer of 2021.

However, according to Mundo Deportivo, an unnamed Chinese Super League outfit have offered Vidal a huge salary in a bid to convince the 32-year-old to leave European football behind in search of pastures new.

Vidal - currently with the Chile squad at the 2019 Copa America - could find his spot at Barca under threat next season as Frenkie de Jong prepares to join the club from Ajax.
