Real Madrid to sell Karim Benzema next summer?

Real Madrid will sell Arsenal and Liverpool target Karim Benzema next summer, according to reports.

Arsenal and Liverpool have been put on alert after Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti reportedly signalled his willingness to sell striker Karim Benzema next summer.

Speculation earlier this week had suggested that the France international's time with the European champions is coming to an end, and the Daily Express claims that the Italian coach is keen to recruit Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller as his replacement.

Reports in Spain indicate that Ancelotti is looking to discuss the possible sale of Benzema with the Real board, and the club are said to be prepared to let him go for the right price.

However, Arsenal and Liverpool are likely to face competition from big-spending French clubs Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco for the ex-Lyon frontman's signature.

Manchester United have also been linked with the 26-year-old as part of a reported £150m January spending spree.
