Chelsea are reportedly weighing up a move for Villarreal striker Arnaut Danjuma, who is also attracting interest from AC Milan and Newcastle United.

Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Arnaut Danjuma from Villarreal.

The 25-year-old completed a transfer from Bournemouth to Villarreal in August 2021, and in his first season for the Spanish club, he registered 16 goals and four assists in 34 appearances.

Although the beginning of the 2022-23 campaign has been disrupted by injury, Danjuma has still managed to score three goals in eight games, and his performances have caught the eye of a number of clubs across Europe.

According to football.london, Chelsea are among those who are considering a move for the Netherlands international, who is under contract with Villarreal until June 2026.

Following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner, the Blues recruited Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the summer, but they are still keen to strengthen in the final third.

During the summer transfer window Danjuma was valued at £31m following interest from Arsenal and West Ham United, but no transfer materialised.

While Chelsea are weighing up whether to move for Danjuma, they could face competition from AC Milan and Newcastle United, who have also been linked with the forward.
