Report: Barcelona line up Hector Bellerin as Dani Alves replacement

Barcelona reportedly line up Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin as a replacement for Dani Alves should the Brazilian be lured by a big-money move to China this summer.

Barcelona have reportedly set their sights on Arsenal's full-back Hector Bellerin as a replacement for Dani Alves this summer.

Alves has been linked with a big-money move to the Chinese Super League after reports surfaced claiming that Guangzhou Evergrande had attempted to lure the Brazilian away from Camp Nou with a lucrative contract.

Should Alves end his eight-year stay with Barcelona then they would turn to Bellerin in order to replace him, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Bellerin joined Barcelona as a schoolboy and spent eight years at La Masia before joining Arsenal's academy in 2011.

The likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are also reportedly interested in the 21-year-old, but it is understood that he would only be willing to leave the Emirates should Barcelona come knocking.

The Gunners are unlikely to welcome offers for their first-choice right-back, but it is thought that a concrete bid from Barcelona could make Bellerin try to push a move through.

The report also states that Barcelona manager Luis Enrique is willing to giving Aleix Vidal a chance as the first-choice right-back before deciding on whether to make a move for Bellerin.
