Atletico Madrid are reportedly ready to revive their long-standing interest in Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette.

Arsenal forward Alexandre Lacazette has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Atletico Madrid.

The Frenchman has enjoyed a solid four years at the Emirates Stadium, contributing 65 goals from 170 appearances in all competitions.

However, with less than 12 months remaining on his contract, both the player and his club are said to be open to a transfer before the end of August.

According to ESPN, Atletico are monitoring the situation as Diego Simeone looks for reinforcements in the final third.

Despite winning last season's La Liga title, Atletico scored 67 goals from 38 matches, 18 less than third-placed Barcelona.

Arsenal are allegedly prepared to sell the 30-year-old for £15m.
