Arsenal scouted Christopher Nkunku during Paris Saint-Germain's 4-0 win over Dijon in Ligue 1 on Tuesday night, according to a report.

Arsenal reportedly sent scouts to watch midfielder Christopher Nkunku in action during Paris Saint-Germain's 4-0 win over Dijon in Ligue 1 earlier this week.

The Gunners were strongly linked with a move for Nkunku during the January transfer window, but they were unable to get the deal over the line and ultimately signed Denis Suarez on loan from Barcelona.

According to Mercato365, though, Arsenal are still interested in signing Nkunku, having sent scouts to watch him on Tuesday night. The 21-year-old played 76 minutes of the Ligue 1 affair, which PSG won 4-0.

The midfielder came through the youth system with Les Parisiens and has since made 72 appearances for the first team, scoring 11 times in the process.

This season, the France Under-21 international has contributed four goals and two assists in 23 appearances in all competitions.
