Brazilian full-back Andre Santos reveals that he is content with being an Arsenal player.

Andre Santos has played down speculation that has linked him with a move away from Arsenal by insisting that he is "very happy" at the club.

Reports had claimed that the Brazilian defender was keen on a transfer in order to find regular starting action, with Turkish club Fenerbahce said to be interested in his services.

However, despite admitting that he has heard the rumours, the 29-year-old is adamant that there is no truth in them.

"There were rumours. I had people asking me on Twitter and even players from Fenerbahce asking if it was true," he said. "But I am very happy here and hope to stay at Arsenal for a long time. London is a great city and the Arsenal fans are amazing."

Santos has made 23 appearances for the Gunners.
