Charlie Nicholas predicts Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur to finish in top four

North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur will finish in the top four, according to Charlie Nicholas.

Former Arsenal striker Charlie Nicholas has predicted that both the Gunners and Tottenham Hotspur will finish in the top four this season.

Spurs moved ahead of their North London rivals with a 2-1 derby-day win on Saturday, and their rich vein of form has Nicholas believing that they can beat the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool to fourth spot, behind Arsenal.

He told Sky Sports News: "I haven't been impressed by Manchester United and think that Tottenham and Liverpool are bigger threats, although European football will be a hindrance to both of them.

"Spurs are capable of winning at Liverpool but it's a big challenge for them. If they can win at Anfield and maintain this form then I'd actually expect Spurs and Arsenal both to finish in the top four."

Spurs sit one point behind fourth-placed United, and one ahead of Arsenal.
