Lois Toulson secures a Commonwealth Games bronze medal for Team England in the 10m platform event on the Gold Coast.

Lois Toulson has secured a diving bronze for Team England in the women's 10m platform event at the Commonwealth Games.

The 18-year-old's repertoire included an impressive score of 81.60 for her inward 3-1/2 but was not enough to topple home favourite Melissa Wu, who topped the podium with a score of 360.40.

Silver went the way of Meaghan Benfeito of Canada, whose total of 359.75 included an 84.80 for her armstand back double somersault with 1-1/2 twists.

Toulson's teammate Robyn Birch could only finish eighth despite a solid routine, which earned a score of 308.40.

Scotland's Gemma McArthur brought up the rear with a score of 263.05.
