Bilal Asif called up by Pakistan

Pakistan call up Bilal Asif for the second Test against England, despite the spinner's action currently being under review by the ICC.

Pakistan have called up off-spinner Bilal Asif ahead of the second Test against England in Dubai.

After bad light allowed Pakistan to escape with a draw from the opening match of the three-Test series in Abu Dhabi, they are hoping to have Yasir Shah available following his battle with back spasms.

Shah has still not been cleared for the game, which begins on Thursday, and the selectors have responded by including Asif in the squad.

The 30-year-old's selection comes despite being reported for a suspect bowling action in a one-day international against Zimbabwe earlier this month.

Asif is currently undergoing tests on his action, but the International Cricket Council (ICC) do not suspend a player until the results are revealed.
