Russia's David Ayrapetyan has defeated Puerto Rico's Jantony Ortiz 15-13 in an close light flyweight enounter.
It was nip and tuck in the first round with both men looking adept inside the ring. Both men had plenty to be pleased about as the judges scored it even at 4-4.
Ayrapetyan's experience came through in the second round and he started to get the better of his opponent, building up a two-point lead heading into the decider.
However, Ortiz responded well in the third and applied some pressure on the Russian.
The Puerto Rican threw everything at Ayrapetyan in the final minute of the contest, but could not do enough to reverse the scores.
