Amir Khan's manager says that there is a strong chance that the WBA and IBF titles could be on the line, along with Danny Garcia's WBC strap, for their fight at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on July 14.

Amir Khan's manager believes that there is a "very strong" chance that the Bolton fighter will be reinstated as WBA and IBF light-welterweight champion.

Khan will fly to America today ahead of his July 14 showdown with Danny Garcia for the American's WBC title.

However, the IBF and WBA titles could also be on the line, along with The Ring magazine belt, should the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) decide to strip Lamont Peterson of the titles at a hearing on June 13.

The American won the two straps in a controversial 12-round decision in his home town of Washington in December.

A rematch was due to be fought last month, but was cancelled after Peterson tested positive for synthetic testosterone.

Asif Vali, Khan's manager, has now said that they will await the outcome of the NSAC.

"We've got wait until the hearing with the Nevada Commission," said Vali. "If the appeal is rejected and they strip Peterson of the titles, the fight with Amir could be ruled a no contest and the titles either given back to Amir or declared vacant.

"There's a very strong chance that all three belts will be on the line on July 14 as well as The Ring magazine belt.

"The more the better for Amir, because it makes the fight bigger."

It has been rumoured that Khan will step up in weight should he unify the three titles.
