The Lakers' were unbeaten in their last 14 games on their travels.

A last-gasp go-ahead layup from Malcolm Brogden helped the Indiana Pacers to a shock 105-102 victory over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Despite going zero-for-six from beyond the arc, LeBron James was still a force for the visitors, finishing with 20 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.

However a late defensive stand, combined with 26 points from Domantas Sabonis, was just enough for the Pacers to overcome the Western Conference leaders and bring the Lakers' 14-game road winning streak to a dramatic end.

A massive 41-point first quarter helped the New York Knicks steamroll the Atlanta Hawks 143-120.

A 42-point effort from Trae Young was not enough for the hapless Hawks as the 23-point drubbing handed them their fifth straight loss.

Meanwhile, it was a much-improved performance from New York, who improved to 3-3 under the direction of interim head coach Mike Miller.

Another MVP-level performance from Spencer Dinwiddie propelled the Brooklyn Nets to a 108-101 overtime win against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Dinwiddie dropped 31 points and increased his season average to 21 as Brooklyn held on to seventh spot in the Eastern Conference.

Elsewhere, the Los Angeles Clippers had little trouble against the Phoenix Suns winning 120-99, a late flurry from Donovan Mitchell helped the Utah Jazz to a 109-102 victory over the Orlando Magic and the Charlotte Hornets defeated the Sacramento Kings 110-102.
