A report suggests that Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons is likely to miss his side's clash against the Charlotte Hornets due to an ankle injury.

Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons is doubtful for his side's clash against the Charlotte Hornets, according to a report.

The 26-year-old sustained a sprain and a bone bruise on his left ankle in the Mavericks' win over the Houston Rockets as he fell when attempting to a make a rebound.

Parsons is likely to miss his side's match against the Hornets on Sunday, but could return in time to play against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday, claims ESPN.

The forward is averaging 15.4 points per game for the Mavericks this season.
