Laura Muir leads a clean sweep for Great Britain with 3000m gold at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston as part of the World Indoor Tour.

Laura Muir clinched the gold medal as Great Britain completed a clean sweep of the podium spots in the women's 3000m at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston.

The event is one of seven gold meetings in the 2023 World Indoor Tour, and Muir - the world bronze medallist in the 1500m - topped the 3000m leaderboard with a time of 8:40.34.

Compatriot Melissa Courtney-Bryant settled for the silver medal with 8:41.09, while Katie Snowden was slightly further back in the bronze medal spot with 8:47.41.

Snowden edged out fellow Brit Hannah Nuttall by just over three tenths of a second, as the latter placed fourth with a time of 8:47.72 and just missed out on a medal.

A second gold medal for GB Boston went to Neil Gourley, who placed first in the men's mile in 3:52.84, just ahead of Samuel Tanner's 3:52.85, while also finishing second behind Ireland's Andrew Coscoran in the 1500m.

There was more podium success for GB in the men's 3000m, as James West clinched the bronze medal with 7:42.89 - also beating fourth-placed Morgan Beadlescomb by one hundredth of a second.

Isabelle Boffey also won the bronze medal in the women's 800m with 2:01.42 on the clock, and at the silver meeting in Hustopece, Czech Republic, Morgan Lake cleared 1.99m in the women's high jump to set a new British record - surpassing Katarina Johnson-Thompson's 1.98m from the Rio 2016 Olympics.
