Mikail Huggins proud of relationship with Libby Clegg

Mikail Huggins believes that it is the relationship he enjoys with Libby Clegg which allowed the pair to be successful at the Commonwealth Games.

Mikail Huggins has lavished Libby Clegg with praise after the pair combined to win gold in the T11/12 100m at the Commonwealth Games on Monday.

Clegg had plenty of breathing space as he stormed over the line in a world-leading time of 12.20s, and her guide was keen to reveal his pride in his partner.

"It's a relationship that we've been building for four years. Practice makes perfect," Huggins told BBC Breakfast. "I'm proud of her, and proud of us both.

"This is my life now, and I love what I do."

Clegg and Huggins were forced to settle for silver at the Olympics two years ago.
