The London Underground is not experiencing huge delays this morning, while the roads should be clear for those travelling to Weymouth for the sailing and to Dorney for this morning's canoe sprint.

Olympic spectators travelling to events around London via the Underground system should not expect lengthy delays this morning.

The only disruptions worthy of note are those on the London Overground and Jubilee line at Canada Water, which are experiencing slight delays due to the lack of free step access because of defective lifts.

Despite that slight halt in proceedings, the remaining lines are currently transporting commuters swiftly.

Those travelling by car to witness the men's 10km open-water marathon at Hyde Park should be wary of a lane closure on the A12 in Hackney between Hackney Wick and Lea Interchange due to an accident but a diversion has been provided.

Fans of the Olympic sailing should not currently experience any delays on the roads as normal Games management continues, while those making their way to Eton Dorney to witness the morning's canoe sprint action should not encounter much traffic.
